The WeWALK App has been meticulously developed to provide a fully accessible platform that empowers visually impaired individuals to navigate their surroundings with ease and obtain accessible directions.

With WeWALK, users can receive detailed navigation instructions to their desired destinations, and explore nearby locations in an accessible manner.

The app allows users to locate public transportation stops nearby, check the schedules of public transportation lines passing through those stops, and receive notifications as they approach their intended stop while on public transport.

WeWALK has been designed to offer a seamless and unobstructed navigation experience. Users can analyze various routes, select their preferred path, reach public transportation stops, await the arrival of their chosen service, and receive alerts as they near their stop once aboard the vehicle. This comprehensive navigation system ensures a fully accessible end-to-end journey experience.

During navigation, WeWALK provides additional information such as intersections, stairs, and elevators to enhance users' understanding of their chosen route and facilitate easy travel. The development of WeWALK involved close collaboration with the visually impaired community and full compatibility with screen readers.

To utilize WeWALK for navigation, users can search for their desired locations by selecting the 'Get Navigation' button or choosing a location through features like 'Explore,' 'Public Transportation,' 'My Places,' and then 'Go Here.' The app guides users audibly step by step, offering an accessible map for individuals with low vision. WeWALK proves to be a valuable navigation tool for both visually impaired individuals and those with low vision.

In Location Discovery mode, users can activate the Explore feature to have WeWALK announce the surrounding locations while walking, ensuring visually impaired and low vision users can enjoy accessible exploration without missing out on establishments nearby. Users can also generate a list of nearby locations by pressing the 'Discover' button for future reference.

The Public Transport feature enables visually impaired individuals and those with low vision to access upcoming transportation lines while waiting at stops, receive notifications upon boarding public transport services to easily identify their destination stop.

For individuals using the WeWALK smart cane, seamless integration allows free access to all app features directly on the cane by syncing the application with the cane itself.

Note: The WeWALK App necessitates background access to your location on your iPhone to deliver core functionalities such as locating nearby places and providing turn-by-turn directions even when your device is locked.

Payments and Renewal:

• Users can experience WeWALK for a complimentary 14-day trial upon selecting a subscription plan.
• Following this trial period, payment will be automatically processed through your iTunes account.
• Subscription renewal occurs unless auto-renewal is deactivated at least 24 hours before the current period concludes.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the current subscription term ending.
• Auto-renewal can be managed or disabled in your Account settings post-purchase.
